The E-Desk is a one stop dashboard where all of the day to day business that needs to be addressed is displayed. This module allows users to navigate to their email, currently open job order, time sheet approvals, and see current company news without having to leave the main screen or navigate to another module.
The eDesk is separated into three sections:
1. Calendar Items, Tasks, and Reminders
- Calendar displays appointments that have been scheduled for that particular day
- Tasks or To Dos are items that will display on your eDesk until you have marked those items as completed
- Reminders are items that will display and remain on your eDesk until a certain date has passed
2. Email, eCampaigns, Submissions, and Approvals
- Email accounts that have been setup within AkkenCloud
- eCampaigns that have recently been created and delivered, along with the number of inquiries/responses to those campaigns
- Submissions is a list of the most recently updated job orders, and the number of submissions to those particular job order
- Approvals range from New Hired Employees, to Delivering an invoice that has been created but not sent to the cutomer
3. Announcements, News, FAQ and AkkenCloud Messages
- Announcements are internal notifications for your team to notify them of any important events occurring within the office
- News can be displayed on your eDesk or on your website to let users, potential candidates, and clients know what is going on with your company
- FAQ or the Knowledge Center is an area for your staff to post helpful links, documents, or questions that will assist your staff with their questions. This area is internal only and AkkenCloud support does not have access to data posted to the FAQ
- AkkenCloud Messages alert all of our users with any updates, changes, fixes, or contests, that AkkenCloud may currently be working on or running at the time
